It has been quite difficult to contain our excitement since we heard the news that, yet again, two University of Liverpool staff have been awarded prestigious National Teaching Fellowships (NTF).
The awards have now been announced by the Higher Education Academy, quickly followed by a report on the university web site . All in EdDev are delighted to congratulate Dr Luke Dawson from the School of Dentistry for his fantastic achievement over recent years and the well deserved recognition in the NTF of his work in enhancing the quality of learning, teaching and assessment in dentistry at Liverpool and nationally (something he wrote about in his recent Distinction grade MA in Learning and Teaching undertaken with EdDev)
We are also thrilled that the secret is out and we were finally be able to celebrate with Dr Janet Strivens of the Centre for Lifelong Learning on her NTF award. Again well-deserved as a recognition of many years of incredibly productive support for Educational Development both within and extensively, beyond the University. We hope that both Janet and Luke enjoy the formal dinner and presentations in London in October, and hope to make a suitable hat for Luke to wear.
PS. I was so excited I forgot to publish this – so, better late than never as they say!
